A native of Poland, Mr. Field began his Hollywood career in 1921 when he was hired as an artist by Samuel Goldwyn. In 1938, he was named art director for advertising at MGM and held that post until his retirement to Miami in 1958.

Mr. Field was a member of the Famous Illustrators Club in New York City and was named an honorary lifetime member of the Miami Art League.
