Circa 1850-80, attributed to Rouen, ovoid form indented at the base, white tin glazed field polychrome painted, throughout in effusive floral designs, the tall domed cover features a lion form finial, the lion posed in the manner the Chinese, with its paw upon a sphere, "LF" on the underside in underglaze red letters.
