Chiaroscuro woodcut in three panels, circa 1745, after Jacopo Tintoretto (Italian, 1519-1594), the print dedicated to Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Burlington, 2nd Earl of Cork and Lord High Treasurer of Ireland. The engraver slyly placed his own portrait on the clothing of a spectator seated in the upper center of the panel to the viewer's left. Presented behind glass in a 20th century wooden frame.

SS 22.5 x 47.25 in.; DOA 32.5 x 58 in.

Not examined out of the frame; trimmed panels, possibly laid down; a few repaired splits to the edges.
