Virginia Two Part Banquet Table

Circa 1825, attributed to the shop of James Woodard, Norfolk, VA., mahogany, mahogany veneer, yellow pine secondary, two "D" ends each with hinged leaf and swing leg, each leaf with spiral twist and ring turnings, raised on casters. Of interest is that all the legs of this table spiral in the same direction with the exception of one, which spirals in the opposite direction.

One leg with hairline at base; some minor cock beading loss at base of skirt; good estate condition.
