The first worked in polychrome silk thread on fine linen and centered with a two chimney house and field decorated with trees, birds, and floral motifs, signed to bottom register "Elizabeth Ann Lovelock / 1838," presented under glass in a cove molded mahogany veneer frame (SS 16 x 12.5 in.; DOA 20 x 16.5 in.) (veneer loss to upper left corner of frame); the second also worked in polychrome silk thread on linen and with pious verse to top register, centered with house and fence and field with running animals, bottom register depicting Adam and Eve and Tree of Forbidden Fruit, housed under glass in a later frame with velvet liner (SS 20.5 x 17.5 in.; DOA 25 x 22 in.) (Staining to bottom border; crack to glass).
