Late 18th century, highly figured burled wood veneers, pine and soft wood secondary, hinged lid with banded veneer border and ebonized line inlay lifts to reveal an interior compartment with dressing mirror over a well, flanked by divided compartments each beneath a hinged cover, two small exterior drawers, top with four canted corners, the case raised on square tapered legs with spade feet.
