Early 19th century, three-part form, mahogany and mahogany veneers, chestnut and white pine secondary, the upper bookcase section with mullioned glass doors, is surmounted by a shaped pediment with three plinths, the central one with a brass eagle, the flanking ones with ball finials. The medial section has a fitted interior behind faux tambour doors flanked by stiles with inlaid lightwood columns over a fold-out writing surface. The base has four graduated drawers each highlighted by cross banded veneers, raised on splayed French feet.

The medial section is possibly late 19th century; replaced pulls; glass crack; scattered veneer chips.
