The American Book Prices Current database notes a single instance of this book selling at auction- way back in 1992! These ultra-rare Richmond editions are not to be confused with the merely scarce 1863 New York editions which appear from time to time.

Soling and chipping to the front wrap; no outer spine (if one ever existed); possibly missing a final page of the Appendix. The last leaf is loose, yet the binding is sound overall.
