Slightly ovoid in form with an olive-brown alkaline glaze, tall mouth, inner rim, lug handles, one of which is impressed "DS" the opposing handle with impressed capacity mark "2 1/2," lid with mushroom finial. Just above the base is an unusual numerical stamp "71."
