The silver oklad with circa 1908-1926 hallmark and illegible maker's mark, the icon painted on birch panel, presented with a shadow-box frame, inscribed and dated 1947 on the verso, also with stamp in red ink reading "Alexander Sch - Basilev... / Priester der orthodoxen (illegible)."
