The first an original gouache on paper by André Wilquin (French, 1900-1995), from an educative series made for the images "Cibon," matted and framed under glass in an antique Victorian shadow box frame with gilt liner (DOA 13 x 15 in.) (purchased from André Chanillier, Paris, France at the "Works on Paper" show in New York, March 2, 2002); the second a pencil on paper by Mel Crawford (American, 1925-2015), a portrait sketch of Red Cloud, matted and framed under glass (DOA 15 5/8 x 14 in.).
