Salt glazed stoneware on iron heavy clay, probably Randolph County, circa 1840, incised decoration throughout. At the front, below the spout, is a cluster of foliage or "Anthemion", flanked on the left by a heart-winged bird in profile walking on grass and, on the right, by a heart-winged bird on a bough, additionally, the handle terminals are decorated with arches and circles.

Appears to have rim restoration to one side of the spout, appears to have possible restoration to handle.
