Lovell, Amherst, Mass. backmark; Lt. Charles E. Douglas, from Rehobeth, Massachusetts, but served with the 5th Regiment Rhode Island Heavy Artillery, S----R & Smith, New Bern, NC backmark; Private Samuel J. Ford, Co. "A," 17th Massachusetts Infantry, Batchelder & Clement, Newburyport, Mass. backmark; Private Allen Nourse, served in Co. "C,", 17th Massachusetts Infantry, died of disease on October 31, 1862 in New Bern, NC, no backmark.
