An interpretation of ancient Indian civilization based on surviving material culture. (Covers worn with spine loose and crude tape repair; fold-outs poor; internally complete); the second book being The Stampede by "Powder River" Jack Lee (Greensburg, PA: self-published, n.d., circa 1940), 154 pages, octavo, brown boards, inscribed by Lee and his wife to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt (Library stamp from D. H. Hill Library ay NCSU; spine somewhat loose).
