In the French Empire style, circa 1820, presented as table lamps, baluster form with two gilt scrolled swan's head handles, finely hand-painted with a basket of colorful flowers resting on a stone base, the reverse decorated in gilt with a swan within a rondel, gilt decorated socle upon a square base. Each lamp accompanied by a delicately pleated silk shade.

Vase 17 7/8 in.; HOA with shade 30 in.
