Spanish Colonial Style Carved Composition with St. Roch

19th century, Philippines, polychrome decorated, the saint is prominent wearing ecclesiastical robes cinched by a rope, his right hand holds a long staff with a satchel, a small dog holding a loaf and a winged angel complete the tableau. The wooden halo provides an unusual accessory. The angel's tablet reads "ERIS IN LA PISTE PATRON."

HOA includes the decorated base 19.25 in.
