Early 19th century, Scotland, mahogany, mahogany veneers, light and darkwood inlays, broken arched pediment with eagle finial, beveled glass door, painted metal face with second and date hands, the upper section featuring a painted vignette of a lonely sailor's wife, waist door with high grain veneer and double line inlay flanked by carved spiral twist quarter columns, lower section with inlaid border, raised on suppressed ball feet, with pendulum, weights, clock key and case key.
