The first a letter dated June 29th, 1864 from a Union soldier to his sister and detailing his finding several pictures taken from a frame which I found in an old VA mansion on "Grape Hill" one mile from Petersburgh, framed under glass (DOA 11 1/8 x 9 1/8 in.); the second and oil on card painting of a serene lake, unsigned, matted and framed under glass (DOA 9.5 x 11.5 in.); one tintype of three sisters and the second of two men in unidentified uniforms.
