Oil on canvas, signed lower right, presented in a painted wood frame, with old Fine Art Galleries of Canada paper label en verso. Ms. McLaughlin was a founding member of the Canadian Group of Painters in 1933 and served as their first female president. Born in Ontario, she studied at the Ontario College of Art and under several prominent Canadian artists.
