Both likely Virginia, mid 19th century and southern yellow pine, the first with remnants of a Spanish brown wash, rectangular top, ring turned and tapered legs, shrinkage splits to top, break and repair to one leg at upper rings, break and repair at one joint to skirt. (26.5 x 24.5 x 18.5 in.); the second with turned legs and stretcher base, top reset, two inch patch to board on one side (25 x 25 x18 in.).
