19th century with some 18th century elements, mahogany and other mixed hard woods, the front hinged fall front panel featuring a relief carving of King George slaying the dragon, flanked by a four headed dragon on the right and a serpent on the left, the upper style with applied carved female caryatids, cabinet interior lined with old red velvet, cabinet above open compartment with relief cared back pane featuring a recumbent cherub, barley twist columns, stylized platform base.
