The first a 19th century pencil drawing, "Ruins of First Church Jamestown Va.," unsigned, presented in 20th century gilt frame (DOA 10.5 x 12.5 in.); the second a 20th century unsigned oil painting on artist's board of St. Luke's Church, Smithfield, Virginia. The subject, a 17th century edifice, is the oldest surviving church in English North America, presented in wooden frame (DOA 6.5 x 8.5 in.).
