Italian Painted and Parcel Gilt Console Table

Likely late18th century, molded borders around a frieze centered with a winged cherub's mask to one side and flanked by foliate scrolling set in panels, the marble top and frame raised on eight carved, tapered and stop fluted legs, the whole painted cream and pale green with highlights of gilding. The rouge marble top in three sections, the central section appears to be original, the end sections of later date.
