Circa 1820, figured walnut with light wood string inlay, with yellow pine secondary wood, having a flat rectangular backsplash above a nicely grained top with molded edge. The case is centered with a single drawer over a pair of slightly recessed inset paneled doors and flanked on each side by three graduated flush-mount drawers, supported by six tall turned legs; with unusual dramatically lobed central skirt decorated with inlaid shapes and graduated vertical stringing.
