Verbal history claims this model was built by a sailor who had served aboard the U.S.S. North Carolina during WWII. Regardless, the ship is crafted with care and is reasonably accurate when compared to photographs of the real ship.

Appropriately aged surfaces; a few breaks in twine railing; all elements appear to present. Overall very good condition.
