Each painting signed and titled by the artist: the first titled "Alone" (DOA 15 x 11.25 in.); the second titled "Sisters" (DOA 17 x 13 in.); the third titled "Miss Phillips" (DOA 17 x 13); and the fourth titled "The Watchers" (DOA 12 x 15 in.). All but "The Watchers" are oil on canvas, "The Watchers" being oil on board.

An exhibition titled "Southern Gothic: Paintings by W. Clyde Burnett" was mounted in 2012 at The Federal Building in Sarasota, FL.
