English Masonic Tall Case Clock by Henry Peach

Early 19th century, time and strike brass movement, walnut and walnut veneers, the painted steel dial is signed "H. Peach / Beaminster," and features Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, date and moon phase apertures, pierced brass hands; the hood has full fluted columns in the front and quartered columns in the back, its scrolled pediment is topped with a brass eagle or phoenix; the waist door is inlaid with light and dark wood Masonic symbols, the base front is inlaid with a diamond-shaped checkerboard pattern.
