The first figural depicts a couple gardening (loss to flowers and non-professional repair to ladies arm), the second couple are modeled picking grapes (loss of a finger to ladies left hand and small abrasion to the right hand as well as loss of some leaves).

The Meissen dot-period was followed by the Marcolini-period, named after Count Camillo Marcolini who became director of the company in 1774, holding the position until 1814. The Meissen production from this period was marked in undeglaze blue with crossed swords and an asterix in between the cross-pieces.
