By descent from Margaret Nell King Teague, St. Louis, Missouri

White avoided the limelight and generally would not accommodate autograph hounds. In the mid-1970s, however, St. Louis teacher Margaret Teague was vacationing in Maine and not only visited White's home, but managed to get him to sign these two books.
