Exceptional Chinese Tea Caddy

Early to mid 19th century, shaped dome top lacquer box, hinged lid, the whole decorated with gilt figures in interior and landscape settings with pagodas and trees, brass diamond shape escutcheon, interior with two lidded pewter liners, engraved with foliate and scroll motifs, also with circular lidded pewter tea box with engraved designs.
