Three paintings by De Leub were included in an 1867 exhibition held by Bailey & Co. in Philadelphia and previewed at the Eastern Gallery of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Black light inspection reveals some minor touch-ups to floor and wall; the frame has been re-gilt and there is some flaking and minor chipping, especially to the sides. Overall a very attractive painting, ready for display.
