Circa 1900, of the five-masted steamer "R. C. Richmaus," home port of Bremen, meticulously detailed wooden construction with painted sails fashioned from thin sheet metal, mounted on a modeled plaster sea as if afloat, all within a custom wood and glass display case.

One long glass side pane is missing from the case; loss to rigging; sails from the rear mast are suspended by the fourth mast; some small elements loose; chipping to the plaster; overall good condition and ready for display as is, or for minor restoration if desired.
