Dick - "This in my opinion was a breakthrough painting for Vic Huggins. He was attempting to destroy the rectangularness of a painting. He worked on this piece for three months with a special grant paying for him to do so. We bought it from him and always found the title 'Yellow Boxed In' very appropriate." Mary Jo loved this dynamic abstract so much that she designed a blue wall in their dining room specifically for the painting.
