Mid-century hand made loose leaf paper book of Job, titled: "JOB an interpretation in Woodcuts of the Book of Job by Mary Goslen" with full page woodblock images from scenes of Job, woodblock inscribed "To Helen Thrush", wood block and pencil inscribed: "80 Printed Pages, Printed March 20, 1982, By Mary Goslen, Book Number 3/6, This book was printed especially for Harriet Zauber, who waited with the 'patience of Job' for more than ten years while this work was being completed..." Includes original fitted grass cloth case. DOA: 19 x 14.5 x 2.5 in.

Mary Goslen was a member of "The Five Winston-Salem Printmakers." Founded in the fall of 1962 these women sought to share their original works in colleges along the east coast in order that "another person may be touched and enriched." - The Five Winston-Salem Printmakers Plus One Calendar, 1976.
