"The Donzere narrows and Rocher St. Michel, Viviers sur Rhone," watercolor on paper, signed lower left, presented behind mat in a wooden frame, a pencil inscription en verso reads "This is an original water colour painting by John Moore, a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour. He is/was also an admiral and a CBE (Commander of the British Empire), a very distinguished award for service to his country. Fred and I visited him at his home on two occasions.
