Born in Washington, D.C., in 1875, W.R.C. Wood was a noted landscape painter in the Baltimore area. He was active in numerous local art clubs, including: the Charcoal Club; the Baltimore Water Color Club, of which he was also president for a time; and the Municipal Art Society of Baltimore.
