Circa 1810, probably Chesapeake, Virginia area origin, mahogany, burled mahogany veneers, over yellow pine and white pine, having a serpentine top above a long center drawer above a pair of cabinet doors flanked by a short drawer above a deep drawer, all with an oval panel defined by line inlay, inlaid escutcheons, the serpentine case raised on square tapering legs with bellflower inlay; the oval brasses appear to be original.
