Collection of Annemarie Shelness and the late Rudolph Shelness of Prague, London, South Salem and Winston-Salem, North Carolina Family history maintains the Wegmayr was acquired in Prague in the mid-1930s, prior to the German Occupation. The family then moved the painting with them to London during the war. It passed down to Mrs. Annemarie Shelness in the 1950s.
