Circa 1800, stamped "Chapius" on top rail of drawer, mahogany, mahogany veneers, oak secondary, doube hinged rectangular top with upper drop leaf, single long drawer with divided interior and pull out writing tray, raised on square taper legs, when closed it creates a rectangular writing table with a green leather writing surface.

Closed 30.5 x 38 x 26.5 in.

Later green leather writing surface, feet tipped at lower one inch, overall very good usable estate condition.
