The bracelet with (3) oval portrait miniatures in watercolor on ivory each set within a rope twist and seed pearl bezel, set to the center with the portrait of the eldest sister (SS 1.25 x 1 in.; DOA 1.75 x 1 3/8 in.) signed lower right "E.L.Ellis," and dated en verso 1902, flanked on each side by a portrait of a younger sister, (SS 1 1/8 x 7/8; DOA 1 5/8 x 1.25), signed en verso to one "Eva L. Ellis 1902," the hinged portraits with mesh chain terminating in an engraved slide in clasp with safety chain. Unmarked but testing 14KT. The sitters of the portraits, Katherine (1894-1928), Ellenor (1896-1979), and Harriet (1898), are the three daughters of Ansel Granville Cook (1862-1933) who was a prominent orthopedic surgeon in Hartford, Connecticut during the early 1900s.
