Dial engraved "Moses Fontaine London", mid-18th century, fruitwood veneered case with cast gilt brass flame finials, inverted bell top with carrying handle, glazed side and back panels. The arched engraved brass face with Roman numeral hour markers and the outer chapter ring bearing Arabic minute markers, the brass works with spring wind, time and alarm, pull cord from either side of case.
