Late 18th century, Mid-Atlantic, Eastern Seaboard area, mahogany and mahogany veneers, yellow pine and white pine secondary woods, of stately proportions, having a slant lid embellished with banded inlays and central shell paterae and cornered with acorn motif quarters the interior features a central prospect with floral urn paterae, eight short drawers and nine pigeon holes above four graduated cock-beaded drawers, raised on applied bracket foot facings.
