This lot is accompanied by accessories (a top hat, calling cards, and racing silks) from the renowned horse trainer and owner, Andrew Jackson "Jack" Joyner (1861-1943). Born in Enfield, NC, Jack's love of horse racing took him throughout the United States and England. He was among the inaugural class inducted to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1955.
