Having built and installed public art projects throughout the world, Thomas Sayre was commissioned by the NC Museum of Art to create "Gyre" for installation in the Museum Park. He studied at the UNC-Chapel Hill and currently resides in Raleigh where he was among the founders of Clearscapes, a multi-disciplinary design firm.
