Circa 1820-30, mahogany, the tester with veneered flared cornice over veneered frieze, supported by all four tall turned reeded columns carved with tobacco leaves, drapes, and beaded design. The high headboard with scrolled ears and applied turned and carved crest ending with melon shaped finials, raised on block and baluster reeded and tapered legs with brass ball feet. Sold together with custom floral valence, cover, pillows, and skirt. Rail height 21 in., interior: 50.5 x74 in.
