Pair of Hessian Andirons with Tools

Cast iron, 19th century, striding soldiers cast in the half round wearing eagle decorated peaked hats, retaining most of the original paint. Included: a set of fire tools with Hessian motif, circa 1930s, with holder, shovel, poker, and tongs (29 in.).
