The first, circa 1850s, maple half stock with brass mounts and later copper additions, thick octagonal barrel, 55.5 in. overall length with "H" stamped behind the rear sight. Missing nipple, ramrod and lockplate screw; wood finish loss and overall rust; the second, circa 1850s, unmarked octagonal barrel, maple half stock with brass hardware, 54.5 in. overall length. Missing ramrod, nose cap, tang screw; replaced nut on the hammer; some wood loss and splits.
