Circa 1850s, walnut half stock with iron mounts, five silver geometric inlays and an eagle inlay on the butt, barrel, 42.5 in., stamped LONDON with two hallmarks, 11/16 in. bore, 58 in. overall length.

Property deaccessioned from the North Carolina Museum of History.

With remains of a charge extracted in 1976.

Small area of loss to the stock below the lockplate; barrel pitting near the hammer.
