Circa 1820-40, two-part form, mahogany, mahogany veneers, cherry veneers, poplar and white pine secondary woods, the upper bookcase with removable cove molded cornice above Gothic mullioned glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves flanked by fully turned Corinthian columns. The secretary base has two short beveled side-by-side drawers above a fall front desk opening at its rear a divided interior, above a pair of paneled cupboard doors flanked by conforming columns, raised on carved lion paw feet.
