Born in Poland and surviving WWII with her family, she moved to Worcester, MA in 1950. While living in the United State, she worked at a factory, selling jewelry on the side and running a pool hall and Rock-n-Roll club for teenagers. Following retirement, she combined her love of jewelry and her familyÕs history as traditional icon painters by creating these wonderful and whimsical icons featuring figures of religious, cultural, and historical significance.
